This is Beth setting out the morning breakfast buffet line. We had homemade yogurt with all the fixings available, great bread for toast, fresh fruit, and an assortment of cereals and juices. You could also order off a menu which had 5or 6 wonderful hot breakfasts.
Unfortunately Carleton was off on an assignment this AM so I'm unable to post a picture.
Beth had moved to this very home when she was 12. A few years ago when her parent's had decided to sell they quit their jobs, bought the home and opened up this B&B.
We had enjoyed an evening in the conservatory with a lovely and interesting couple from Toronto- Florence Smith and Claude Vickery. We so enjoyed their company and conversation every morning at breakfast.
Here's their picture. Florence was a bit younger yesterday but as luck would have it I didn't have my camera with me. Sorry, Florence but how was I to know you would be a year older today :-)!
We had a uneventful drive to Edinburgh, dropped our rental car off at the airport and caught a taxi into the city to our apartment.
We found a nice little restaurant for dinner
and as usual tried to "figure out the check".
