CASTLE AND CATHEDRAL

On Sunday we took a leisurely drive to Laugharne to visit a castle and see where Dylan Thomas had lived and written some of his poems. The day was absolutely beautiful and upon arriving in Laughlarne we discovered the city packed with people celebrating " The Laugharne Weekend" on the castle grounds which included a food festival and poetry readings, etc

We returned on the late afternoon and after talking over a glass of wine we headed to the Bishop House Tavern to have some Typical Welsh Fare -lamb cutlets, Welsh rarebit and of course a little wine or Guinness - whatever your preference

I had forgotten my camera when we went to St David's Cathedrale on Friday so while waiting to eat we ran over to get this picture.
