GET READY ELGIN - HERE WE COME

You all are probably wondering what happened.  Lots of things but mainly we've been unable to join WIFI networks.  

Yesterday we checked out of the Stay City Apartments, our home for 4 days and caught a cab to the station to catch our train for Aberdeen where we picked up our rental car.

This was the scene from the night before - gettting everything back in the wuitcase is such a chore.

First to arrive at the office to call the cab and get us on our way.

Once we boarded the train we did what we ususally do tried to took out our "devices" and started to blog, check on mail, etc only to discover that in 2nd class we only had 15 minutes of WIFI.  Oh dear, whatever shall we do?

Maybe we could look at the scenery.

We arrived at the airport to pick up our rental car.  Our drivers Sharon and Ginger went to sign the papers and JoAnne and I stood guard over the luggage.

To capture the true essence of the bags that we have tto schlep arouond and load into a car.

We got our Chariot and headed for our B&B.  We had about an hour and a half drive ahead or us but we did take a little detour to look see an ancestry home of Sharon's.  The Skene Castle.  It was quite impressive.

 We arrived at the B&B which is lovely.  Our hosts are Andreas and Kris.  We made ourselves at home in the lounge.

Had a wonderful dinner prepared by Kris.

Andreas stopped by after dinner to tell us some of the sights to enjoy in the area.
