The Magic Fountains were designed by the engineer Farles Buigas and was one of the successes of the 1929 International Exhibition. The fountain was restored for the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. It is worth mentioning that the fountain operates on recycled water in order to save drinking water.
I posted a video of the fountain on Facebook. Quite spectacular. The other water elements are also lovely at night with the lights on.

After the show we walked down the grand esplanade to the Las Arenas shopping mall to have dinner in a roof top restaurant.
Our choice for the evening was an Italian Restaurant - La Tagliatella. Our meal and wine was delicious.
A good night for Sandi's last night with us.
