We had wanted to return to Casais on a sunny day and Monday was beautiful so we boarded the metro and then caught the train and made it to Cascais late morning. There's not a lot to see there but a beautiful spot to just just wander around and pop into little shops. Of course the beach is there and it's beautiful!

It's a fishing vilage so lots of the fishing traps were on the docks.
This young man had done a fabulous sand sculpture. Of course we ontributed to his college fund by pitching a few euro into his "wishing well".
City Hall. Again, beautiful tile work.
We stopped here to have a llittle lunch. Mostly seafood but Sharon managed to find a vegetable soup on the menu so all was well. It was a lovely day and we wandered around a bit more and than returned to Lisbon.
